Easy Lawn’s Contractor Series Hydro Seeding Systems
utilize a proprietary agitation design that has changed the
hydroseeding industry. Hydroseeding mulch is loaded through
an electric mulch grinder1 for fast bale breakup. A top agitation
tube2 wets the mulch and quickly forces it into the slurry.
The hydroseeding slurry is continuously mixed using a 3” bottom
agitation tube3. This tube has multiple jets that spray across
the bottom of the tank to insure that all materials are kept
in suspension. To better empty the tank, the suction is dropped
6” and the hydro-seeding material is pulled into the pump
through a 4” suction manifold4. Easy Lawn uses the only jet
agitation system that can mix paper mulch, wood mulch, and
bonded fiber matrixes. Our
tanks are also an important part of our system. Easy Lawn
offers polyurethane lined steel, stainless steel, and polyethylene
tanks. We strongly recommend our polyethylene tanks because
they do not rust and corrode like steel tanks do. Our poly
tanks are manufactured with a thicker wall than a standard
poly ag tank which helps increase tank life. If you ever do
have to replace an Easy Lawn tank, it is simple because either
of our tanks are removeable. Our competitors steel tank machines
are welded together, so you cannot replace the tank. A steel
tank must be rebuilt from the inside out which is quite an
expensive process. Most steel tank machines have a coating
on the inside to prevent corrosion. However, this coating
wears off with the abrasive materials used in the hydroseeding
mixture, so it has to be re-coated regularly.
