hydroseed pump

hydroseed pump diagram

Easy Lawn’s HPV pumps are the key to our performance advantage. They generate industry leading pressure and flow. Our agitation system receives 200+ gallons per minute at 70+ psi back into the tank at all times ensuring a well-mixed slurry. There is enough excess pressure and flow to push the hydroseeding slurry through up to 300' of hose. You can also spray through the hose and optional turret or dual hoses at the same time. Easy Lawn's 3" agitation pipe functions as a constant bypass, so if you shut off the valve at the end of the hose, you don't have to worry about clogging or pump damage. Some of our copmetitor's units don't have a bypass at all, while others shave a 5/8" bypass that is prone to clogging and must be shut off all together for some applications. This means that you must first shut off the pump before you shut off the valve at the end of the hose or the pump will continue to push mulch into the hose causing either the engine to overload, the line to blow, or pump damage.

The graph below shows the pump performance of our 6 Series Turf Master units as compared to our competitor’s units with the 16hp engine and 4” X 4” pump. The red box outlines our actual operating range. Our agitation system recirculates 200 plus gallons per minute back into the tank at all times ensuring a well mixed slurry. Even with all that agitation, we still maintain 50% more spray pressure than our competitor’s units with their agitation system off.
